Built in 1917, the S/S Karim Nile Paddle Steamer has undergone extensive renovations completed in October 1998. The boat was again renovated during 2009. This historic vessel was originally used by King Fuad I of Egypt and then by his son King Farouk. After the Egyptian revolution, the S/S Karim was used by the state and hosted President Gamal Abd El Nasser and later on President Anwar Al Sadat and his wife Gihan.
Still powered by its original 1917 steam engine and stern quarter wheel paddles, the S/S Karim today combines the comfort of the modern era with the grandeur of the bygone past.
M/S Nile Sapphire, The Complete Serenity
As one of the largest vessels on the River Nile, M/S Nile Sapphire was originally built in 1997 and last renovation took place in 2009. The reception desk provides full services including international telephone and safe deposit boxes.
The restaurant (on lower deck) serves both - international and Egyptian cuisine for 140 guests. The very spacious lounge bar (on main deck) offer panoramic views of the Nile and is tastefully furnished. The lounge offers international bar services with a dance floor and music system for evening entertainment.
M/S La Traviata, The Subtle Charm
After a complete dismantling and renovation program, M/S La Traviata came back to the River Nile in 2004 and was renovated in 2008. M/S La Traviata has proved be a long term favorite with many regular Nile cruise guests.
The cozy restaurant on the lower deck serves 88 guests and serves both - international and Egyptian cuisine. Lounge bar with dance floor and music system for evening entertainment. The sundeck offers a pool as well as sun loungers and a shaded area.
M/S Miriam, The Elegant Beauty
